State Dance Festival Important Information
Dear Intermediate Dance parents,
Thursday 18th September is our State Dance Festival. Please read the notes that have been sent out via School Bytes and SchoolZine for information regarding the festival. The following is a summary of the day and night.
Thursday 18th Sep morning dress rehearsal:
- Students make their own way to and from the rehearsal.
- Arrive at the Seymour Centre by 8:50am.
- Meet at the Stage Door, at the rear of the Seymour Centre Theatre.
- Costumes are to be worn. NO makeup required.
- Students are required to wear slides or flip-flops when moving from dressing room to stage.
- Please DO NOT bring huge bags. Small excursion bag if required or no bag at all.
- The rehearsal finishes at 11:00am at the latest. I will send a message out if we finish earlier than 11:00am.
Thursday 18th Sep night performance:
- Students make their own way to and from the performance.
- Arrive at the Seymour Centre by 6:00pm.
- The show starts at 7:00pm and will end at approximately 9:00/9:15pm. KHPS is in the first half.
- Drop off students at the Stage Door.
- Parents will go in to watch the show from the audience.
- Pick up – when the show finishes. Meet outside the theatre.
