Stage 1 Excursion

Dear %%first_name%%,

Welcome back to Term 3! It's a very exciting term for Year 1 and Year 2 students as we are going on our first excursion for the year. This year, we are visiting Golden Ridge Farm in Dural to support the students' learning in science. The excursion aims to give the students a first-hand look at farm life and an opportunity to get up close to some farm animals.

The excursion with be in Week 6. Year 2 students will attend on Tuesday 26th August with Year 1 following on Wednesday 27th August.

If you are interested in volunteering to join us, please contact your child's teacher via the school office by Friday 8th August. We are limited in the number of parents we can take with us. Depending on the number of volunteers, we may need to pick names from a hat. The classroom teacher will get in touch with you with further details if you're required on the day.

Further information regarding the excursion will be available in the Stage 1 newsletter, which will be communicated tomorrow afternoon.
